Bali Celuk Gold and Silver Art Village is the famous village in Bali as a tourist destination. at this place the local residents are very proactive and full of innovation to the gold and silver crafting. Most of them are Balinese professional artisans and are skillful in design development related to the crafting of silver and gold. We will visit this village before going to Besakih.  In the past the dwellers of Celuk village were mostly farmers. Rumors have it that there were only three families who belonged to the caste of Pande that pioneered this industry.

It is a major painting center and contains a number of art galleries and cooperative art societies which have played a key role in promoting the art of Batuan. Bali Batuan Village is located about 7 kilometers north of Denpasar and about 10 kilometers south of Ubud.  It is a popular centre of  Bali arts and now it’s known for its dancing, wood panel carving and Bali paintings ubud.

 

Mas Village

Mas Village (Mas Village) is classified as a tourist village located in Ubud District, Gianyar, Bali.  It is approximately 20km from Denpasar. The road along to the village of Mas is filled with various kinds of art-shops that serve as a center of handicraft trade sculpture. In the art-shops we can find many who work as carpenters and sculptors.

Tegalalang Rice Terraces are located in Ubud.  It is famous for its beautiful scenes of rice paddies involving the subak (traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system), which according to history, was passed down by a revered holy man named Rsi Markandeya in the eighth century. Tegallalang forms the three most splendid terraced landscapes in Ubud’s shared region, with the others being in the villages of Pejeng and Campuhan. The Tegallalang rice terraces alone offers a scenic outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice paddies on the slopes across the valley. The high roadside location is cool and breezy and it is a well-known spot for tourists to stop and take photos. Painters and nature lovers also enjoy visiting this spot, and there are numerous art kiosks and cafes near the ledge offering their wares.

The area of north-eastern Bali at the Mount Batur caldera, and which encompasses Penelokan, Toya Bungkah, Batur, Kedisan, Abung, Songan and Kintamani villages, is known widely as just Kintamani. Kintamani, Batur and Penelokan villages sit on the rim of the huge Batur caldera about 1,500m above sea level, and offer dramatic views of the active volcano Mount Batur and serene Lake Batur. Toyo Bungkah village is down at the lake edge.

 

Besakih Temple

Pura Besakih is the most important, the largest and holiest temple of Hindu Religion in Bali and one of a series of Balinese temples. Perched nearly 1000 meters up the side of Gunung Agung, it is an extensive complex of 23 separate but related temples with the largest and most important being Pura Penataran Agung. The temple is built on six levels, terraced up the slope. The entrance is marked by a candi Bentar (split gateway), and beyond it the Kori Agung is the gateway to the second courtyard.

 

Tukad Cepung Waterfall

Tukad Cepung Waterfall is a new tourist destination on the Bali island. We can see the beauty of the waterfall that is between the cliff and a little to the middle we seemed to enter in the middle of the cliff almost adjacent.  This waterfall looks like it is coming down from the sky. Sunlight entering from above illuminates the waterfall, making the waterfall appear shining and the light is able to make people who come there appear like they are in heaven.
